Aims

The Nouveau Law Review (NLR) aims to cultivate progressive legal scholarship that bridges the gap between conventional legal doctrines and the rapid evolution of modern society. The journal serves as a premier academic forum for researchers, policymakers, and legal practitioners to propose forward-looking legal frameworks (ius constituendum). Our primary objective is to publish high-quality research that goes beyond structural critique of existing regulations by offering viable juridical solutions to address regulatory lag, technological disruption, and ecological transitions. Through this platform, NLR supports sustainable legal reform and evidence-based policymaking at both national and global levels.

 

Scope

To maintain scholarly rigor and focus, NLR exclusively publishes original research articles, conceptual reviews, and case commentaries that intersect with the following core areas:

• Law, Technology, and Digital Innovation: Regulation of Artificial Intelligence, algorithmic governance, cybersecurity, digital data protection, and the legal framework for virtual assets.

• Ecological Transition and Sustainability Law: Climate justice, carbon pricing mechanisms, corporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) compliance, as well as agrarian and spatial planning law in the context of ecological crises.

• Economic and Global Business Law Reform: Competition law within the platform economy, circular economy regulations, sustainable supply chains, and innovations in commercial dispute resolution.

• Public Policy, Democracy, and Human Rights: Administrative law reform in e-government, evidence-based legislative drafting, restorative justice, and the evolution of human rights paradigms in the digital era.

NLR strongly encourages interdisciplinary approaches (such as Socio-Legal Studies and Public Policy Analysis) and comparative law methodologies.
